Consumption of Creativity
I came across this piece by Lilian Burgler that struck my fancy. I think translates into how artists feel at times. We always have so many great ideas stored inside of us, waiting to be released. But, we may not necessarily have the time to pursue these creative thoughts due to conflicts in our schedule or just the daily hustle and bustle of life.
There will never seem like enough time in the day to get everything done that we hope for, but that doesn't mean that we should stop pushing forward to reach our goals, rather they be short term or long term goals.
Everyday I think it's important to release that energy stored within; that creativity boiling ready to live outside of your thoughts. Release! It could be as simple as jotting some ideas down for a project, or working on a specific task for a short period of time; just to bring you one step closer to where you would like to be. As the saying goes, a little bit goes a long way!
