Moments of Love art exhibit recap
Hello beautiful people. I finally have a moment to slow down (not really) and share with you my experience last weekend.
Visual words of love, passion, life experiences, etc. painted the walls on February 13, 2016 at the Moments of Love art exhibition at the White Room in Washington, DC.
Bruce Jennings of Silent Noise Publishing of NYC, organized and hosted the event, joining visual artists from NY, VA, DC, MD to compile an evening filled with imagery that tantalized the mind, body, and soul.
This was my first time actually spending time in Washington, DC, as many other times I was just passing through while in route to another state. I'm so thankful and so blessed to have shared my art with the good people of Washington and surrounding area. It was humbling to learn that many people traveled from New Jersey to attend.
I've put together a video with photos from the event and hope that take a moment to watch, comment, share.
It's crazy that I was able to pull myself together for this event, as my husband, Kareem, and I were in the middle of relocating to another part of New York during the time. OMG NEW YORK is huge!!!! It took us 5.5 hrs to get to DC. The stress levels were high, but the determination and prayer was even greater. Nonetheless, it was a great opportunity. Most of my paintings that night went walking out the door and on to their new homes.
To all that were in attendance, shared my posts, or encouraged me along the way... THANK YOU! I appreciate you.
