Tuesday's moment of reflection: Desire to Succeed

Have you ever had a desire to succeed so much, that you become fearful of it? Allowing that fear to overcome them and in turn it becomes a set back. Unfortunately, I'm familiar with this. It actually happened to me while working on my first children's activity book last year.  The fear of success is said to also be known as the Jonah complex. It is the fear of one's own greatness, the evasion of one's destiny, or the avoidance of exercising one's talents.[1][3] Just as the fear of achieving a personal worst can motivate personal growth, the fear of achieving a personal best can also hinder achievement.[1]

I wondered if this fear of success was "normal" and actually came across a few interesting articles about it online and ways to overcome it. Here's one of them. (click here)
