May is National Bike Month- the ideal time to get outside and enjoy yourself before the summer heat sets in and chases you back inside to the air conditioning.
On May 24th I'll be teaming up with Indigo Artist Collective for the 3rd Annual Spring Bike Tune Up in Brooklyn, NY!
This family fun day is enriched by local culinary artisans, live bands performances, live BMX bike exhibition, free face painting and an artist’s showcase. IAC wants to give families who may not be able to afford bikes for their children, an opportunity to enjoy cycling alongside teaching healthy living and art appreciation in its many forms.
IAC also provides FREE bike tune-ups and FREE safety clinics!
This Event is intended to attract youth participants in the Indigo Performing Arts Center, which will supply art after school programs in Brooklyn, NY.
To date, Indigo Artist Collective has donated over 75 bicycles.
I'm so very excited to attend this event and honored to lead a live mural painting, as well as curate the event. To find out how you can help and get involved or for more information, visit http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/spring-bike-tune-up
